Lightning strikes can cause power surges and happen more often than you think. So, I was thinking my gear, computers, tv, radios, are unprotected against any kind of electrical surges, spikes in power due to thinks like lightening strikes, power transformer malfunctions, and etc. So I went to look at power strips/surge protectors while shopping. I ended up purchasing one but did not do my homework beforehand. Actually, when i got home I decided to look this thing up and see how good it is. To my amazement, it was ratted badly.
